Camp Volunteer Opportunities

SOAR Fox Cities provides camping experiences for youth and adults with developmental disabilities. Volunteers are a vital part of SOAR’s Camp Program. Volunteer counselors assist campers as needed. (Each camper is unique in their abilities and independence – Some campers may need help dressing appropriately for weather, need reminders to brush their teeth, assistance cutting food, or help following the camp schedule.) Counselors also help support camper’s involvement in camp activities like arts & crafts, boating, fishing, games, music, nature, swimming & more!

SOAR currently offers three camps each year:

Camp Onaway: Summer camp in Waupaca (June 11-15, 2019)

Able & Active Camp: Fall weekend camp for ages 16-26

Adult Fall Camp
